With many A-list celebrities including Rihanna jumping on the bandwagon of the beauty industry, this wave is yet to continue. Many have failed but some have climbed it to the top successfully finding their niche. Hailey Bieber is the latest news and is yet to join the lengthy list of celebrities that have entered the beauty world. Derived from her middle name “Rhode” her brand is yet to make an appearance in the market. She has been working on her brand for the last two and half years and has spoken about it on her YouTube channel and Wall Street Journal profile lately.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM RHODE
Bieber has not elaborated much on what products her brand will offer nor the release date, however, she stated that the brand will launch this year. She has given insight by saying that her role in the brand is creative and more inclined toward the packaging, the colors and the aesthetics. Bieber also explained that her brand is going to be fairly priced, based on accessibility to the masses. She said that her brand ethos is to provide really affordable and really good quality products.
On January 25, Hailey shared a sneak peek that fans can expect to see in Rhode’s lunch. She is seen sporting a bikini set with her skin glowing and tagged Rhode brand’s Instagram in the post. In the Wall Street Journal interview, she referenced having “glazed donut” skin and did the same in the Instagram post that points towards having a beauty line that is all about the glow. Her brand is set to include “wellness merchandise that includes everything from bath and shower products to beauty creams, cosmetics, makeup, hair and skin care, and fragrances”.
Back in 2019, Bieber filed to trademark the name “Bieber Beauty” but it got rejected by U.S Patent & Trademark Office and failed to make it to the stores but she did not give up just there and came up with “Rhode” that not only represents her middle name but also compliments her husband Justin Bieber’s business ventures.
Bieber has already garnered 109K followers on the brand’s Instagram and with her million follower count on her personal Instagram and her being the ambassador of Bare Minerals, we are sure that you will be joining the long queue when the products are launched.
