LIP GLOSSES ARE ALL YOU NEED FOR THAT DEWY SUMMER LOOK

If you would have told me 2 years ago that I would be obsessed with lip glosses, I would have straight up laughed in your face. My obsession with lip glosses started back in 2020 when I was spending all my time on Pinterest and seeing girls looking so amazing with glossy lips. So, at 3 am while chatting to my friends about how lip glosses are trending, I ended up making an impulsive purchase and that is how my love for glosses began. Fast forward to an year later, I have been collecting them and love wearing a gloss on it’s own or using it as a topper for some other lip color.

Summers are all about minimalistic makeup with a lot of dewy glows and that is exactly why you need lip glosses. If your lips are looking shiny and juicy, half of the work is done. So which glosses should you be getting for summer 2021? Keep on reading, I have some affordable but amazing finds for you:

Makeup Revolution Lip Topper – Fortune

Makeup Revolution always manages to amaze me with their products! Firstly, the packaging is so luxe and gets you all excited to see what’s inside. I love how the cap looks like a shiny, textured surface and the bottle itself is shaped like a hexagon.

So, it’s actually a lip topper and I honestly love topping up all my matte lipsticks with this. It’s so buttery, has an amazing shine to it and doesn’t feel stick at all. It looks good on top of any lip color you have and is a great way to add a subtle shine to your lips. My applicator has actually gotten a bit pink because I use this topper so much!

            

 

ELF Juicy Gloss – Cherry Pop

Just by reading the name of this product, I’m sure you can imagine what it will look like. I got so excited when ELF launched its Jelly Pop collection and there are so many amazing things in the entire collection. As for the Juicy gloss, it certainly delivers what it promises. The formula is not sticky and gives such a pretty, sheer wash of color. Oh, and the watermelon flavor and scent is one of my favorite part of this product.

 

 

ColourPop So Juicy Pluming GlossOkay so I guess it’s clear that I love glosses that say ‘juicy’. This one from Colourpop is actually a plumping gloss, which means that it’ll make your lips look a little plump. Beware of the plumping sensation that comes right after application. It does feel a bit weird but I kind of enjoy it.

The shade I love is called Small Talk, which is like a nude color with a glassy shine to it. The formula is non sticky and lasts for a good amount of time.

 

Wet n Wild Ice Cream Bee

Think of sweet ice cream; that is what this lip gloss makes me think off. The packing is super cute, and the color is so pretty and pink. This is one of those glosses that I would totally rock on its own because it is a bit pigmented than the other ones I have mentioned.

One downside of this product is that it is a tiny bit sticky, but I don’t actually mind it and it goes away after a while.
