If we have an honest talk about foundation, then it is something that feels like it is sitting on our face and doesn’t look natural most of the time but there are some exceptions in the markets and one of those is Huda Beauty’s #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Foundation that is a major upgrade on an old favorite, the #FauxFilter Matte Foundation.
First Impression About #Fauxfilter Luminous Matte Foundation
This global favorite is back with the same full coverage and long-lasting properties, that is the 24-hour flexible wear with a luminous matte finish and a fragrance-free product. This foundation adds the full coverage same as the original one with a seamless finish and a luminous flow and not to forget Huda Beauty’s signature #FauxFilter finish to blur texture. The formula is non-cakey with a “life-proof” finish, as Huda Beauty describes it, meaning it's waterproof, super long wear, transfer-proof, fade-proof, sweat-proof, and humidity-proof. It can handle anything the weather, occasion, or the situation throws on you and will never let you down.
Beauty Guru Thoughts On #Fauxfilter Luminous Matte Foundation
Beauty guru Kaushal tried out the #FauxFIlter Luminous Matte Foundation in shade Cheesecake and loved it. She was thrown off with the fragrance of the last release but since the new improved formula is fragrance-free, she encouraged that. Decent full coverage, seamless finish left her speechless. It is easy to work with due to its creamy consistency and absorbs in the skin beautifully, but 2 pumps are more than enough to do the job if you want less coverage and natural skin. Go for a second layer if you wish for full coverage. For her, this foundation was more on the matte side rather than the luminous side also it is not mask-proof. But overall, she claimed the results to be pretty nice even after hours of wearing the foundation.
On the other hand, I also reviewed the #FauxFIlter Luminous Matte Foundation myself and wore it for 12 hours myself. I have combo skin and it worked really well for. The formula is thick but works really well. I loved the fact that it was fragrance-free. It is full coverage and cancelled out any darkness, redness, or discoloration. It doesn’t glide on smoothly when the brush is used but still gives beautiful coverage. In all, it is a nice foundation to try on if you want a seamless finish.
If you want a foundation for picture-perfect skin, then this is the one to keep in mind.
